How does Pinterest unconsciously affect your inspiration by using algorithms? “Weaponized design represents electronic systems whose designs either do not account for an abusive application or whose user experiences directly empower attackers.” Cade Diehm (Tactical tech) defines weaponized design and explores its common causes and influence through the perspective of online platforms such as Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat. Additionally, his talk will raise the questions and open the live discussion with an audience on the importance of the ethics in design and how the design community, by avoiding the responsibility, is playing an active role in the whole process, which they are not fully aware.
